Our Impact in Action

Unlocking Potential for Women and Girls to Be #EQUALEVERYWHERE, EVERY DAY

Crocs, Inc. continued to walk the talk, hosting a special edition series of the internal Let’s Talk Purpose sessions this past March. Michelle Milford Morse, the global Vice President for Girls and Women Strategy at the United Nations Foundation (UNF) joined the session in honor of International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month.

The session brought together team members from across the organization to learn more about the state of women’s equality globally and in workplaces. With her spirit of unapologetic optimism, Michelle discussed the UNF’s #EqualEverywhere campaign. Designed to build, nurture and mobilize communities of support for girls and women across and between countries, sectors and issues, the #EqualEverywhere campaign is the UNF’s signature gender equality campaign. Since its launch in 2020, it has reached hundreds of millions of people in more than 100 countries.

Through the UNF’s #EqualEverywhere campaign, Crocs, Inc. has worked with the nonprofit foundation to support changemakers who push for girls and women to be equal everywhere, every day. We recognize that nearly two-thirds of our global workforce identify as women, and for the second year, we encouraged our online community to take a #GenderEquality pledge to stand with girls and women.

Michelle specifically spoke about the opportunities for breaking down gender discrimination and inequality. With a message grounded in hope and potential, the conversation centered on a key question: “If they were equal everywhere and every day, what could girls and women achieve?”

In response, Heidi Cooley, Crocs SVP, Chief Marketing Officer, said, “If girls and women were equal everywhere and every day, they could make incredible impact as leaders, creators and innovators to boldly shape the world.”

Others agreed—including Kelly Cortina, SVP Chief Product and Merchandising Officer at HEYDUDE, who said, “If they were equal everywhere and every day, girls and women could fully express themselves through their style, creativity, art, careers and hearts to make the world a better place.”
