10 innovative companies win 6th annual IQ Awards

BOULDER – The “Ah-haa!” innovations of 10 inspired companies won them kudos at the 6th annual IQ Awards presented by The Boulder County Business Report.
The IQ (Innovation Quotient) Awards winners, recognized for their innovative products and services, were announced at the awards and networking event Thursday, Aug. 18, at the University of Colorado’s Stadium Club at Folsom Field on the Boulder campus. “Ah-Haa! Great Moments of Inspiration” was the theme for the 2005 event, attended by a sell-out crowd of about 425.
Each of the winners is profiled in this special section, which was published early to distribute at the event.
Thirty finalists were chosen from more than 80 nominations.
The 2005 IQ Awards, with 9News Business Reporter Gregg Moss as master of ceremonies, featured a trade show area for sponsors and a pre-event reception for sponsors, finalists and Business Report staff. Event videos, naming the winners and thanking sponsors, was produced by Boulder’s People Productions and featured Business Report Publishers Jeff Schott and Jerry W. Lewis…
