New York City and Boston stores open on the busiest shopping day of the year offering shoppers comfort, style and some holiday shopping perks
Niwot, Colo., Nov. 21, 2007 – Crocs, Inc. (NASDAQ: CROX) today announced it will open retail stores in Boston and New York City on Friday, November 23rd, its first East Coast locations. On the traditional kick-off to the holiday shopping season, Crocs™ shoe lovers in both cities need look no further than these two new stores for their favorite Crocs™ styles, which can provide all day comfort and style while running from store to store. As an extra incentive to shop, Crocs will giveaway a CD featuring up-and-coming artists such as Caroline Cobb from Boston and Sparlha Swa from Brooklyn to the first 3,000 customers who try on a pair of newly launched YOU by Crocs™ shoes at each location.
The new Boston Crocs™ retail store is located in the historic Haymarket area at Faneuil Hall. The New York City Crocs™ retail store is opening at 270 Columbus Avenue.

Both stores will carry the full line of brightly colored traditional Crocs™ shoe models, as well as the new, fashion-forward YOU by Crocs™ line (MSRP: $139-299), which launched this Fall. The Fall YOU by Crocs™ , High Spirits Collection, includes wedge-heeled shoes and a lifted flat that incorporate Crocs’ technologically advanced closed cell resin, Croslite™ material in each footbed, creating the ultimate experience in comfort. The Fall line was developed using Italian design and features luxurious materials, including lambs wool, leather, patent leather, and suede.
The Boston store also will feature Crocs™ newly launched apparel line (MSRP: $16-$100). Crocs™ apparel line has taken the versatility of Croslite™ material to new heights by incorporating a new form of Croslite material called Croslite rt™. Croslite rt™ stands for “relaxed technology,” and makes garments lightweight, versatile, breathable and durable. In addition, Croslite rt™ enables garments to be resistant to harsh chemicals and heat, ensuring longevity after exposure to sun, UV light and sweat. Currently Crocs™ apparel is available in men’s and children’s styles.
Both of the new East Coast stores highlight Crocs™ global, innovative brand with simplistic modern design elements that showcase its diverse product lines. Each retail location features interactive components which emphasize the unique characteristics of Crocs’ products.
